Holding activities of the international program “Multilocal Women’s Partnership against Poverty” the activists of NP “Zvezda nadezhdy” paid their attention to the fact that the majority of women who needed psychological help also had financial problems. So raising their financial state became the main direction of work. First of all, it means providing assistance in finding job that can bring a stable income. In the first half-year period 342 women (86% of women in need) received such assistance. 69 of them have got a permanent employment (17,3%) and 55 (14%) – temporary work, 199 (50,1%) were registered in the employment centers, 19 women (4,8%) started their own business. 14% of women still do not work for different reasons. These activities became very significant for the women from distant rural areas of the Kaliningrad region: Krasnoznamensk, Ozyorsk, Pravdinsk, Nesterov.  

Besides, the activities aimed at women self-dependance empowerment also promoted the raising of their financial state.  Activists and volunteers of NP “Zvezda nadezhdy” conducted classes in tailor’s workshops and computer classrooms which gave women skills of working on computer and designing and tailoring clothes. In Gvardeysk and Kaliningrad cities 12 women were taught computer skills. In Kaliningrad, Pravdinsk and Gvardeysk 25 women learned how to design and tailor clothes, 5 of them finished their 4-month studying in Pravdinsk, 3 of them bought sewing machines and started their individual entrepreneurship.

Some activities were held to motivate women to use their backyards, to start a home gardening for self-production.

Service quality monitoring of families showed that almost all families from rural areas started their home gardening, mushrooming and berrying. Having got the early harvest of potato, radish, onion, potherb, wild berries, they provide their families and sell some extras in markets thus realizing the advantages of their status. Motivation for self-production showed good results in the cities of Polessk, Ozyorsk, Svetlogorsk, Mamonovo and Ladushkin.  

Comparative analysis of women problems monitoring in the beginning and in the end of their patronage shows that their purchasing capacity raised. If in the beginning of patronage 57% respondents mentioned their need in most necessary goods, then in the end only 16% had such problem.
